		<description>Great post here.  The best line is that we, in our churches in America, misunderstand obedience for legalism and bondage.

It&#039;s the contrast between reading The Word to get near to God and reading The Word because YOU ARE near to God.  Or praying to get near to God as opposed to praying because God has already brought himself near to YOU!

I recently read that we have a door just a few inches above our heart where Jesus lives.  The door is opened whenever we say &#039;I can&#039;t ...&#039; and His life begins to flow through us but, the door closes the instant that we begin to trust in our own strength and abilities.
